Tint instructions for Ford Fiesta, BWMs
This is the instructions for the tint we sell. This is for:
How to install MK8 Revers Light and Reflector Tint
How to apply MK7 Reflector Tint
How to tint BMW Reflector Tint
For applying your tint, you will need a plastic card to make application flat on the car. If you apply water onto the area you are applying the tint, this will mean that you have a bit of scope for adjustment. It is not necessary to use a heat gun or hair dryer however it makes the tint more flexible and easier to apply.
- Clean the surface where you are going to put the tint.
- Peel off the tint from the clear plastic.
- The tint is made to be slightly wider than the area that you are going to be covering. When placing the tint try to position it as central as possible to the area, there should be a small amount of leeway around the edges.
- Scrape the plastic card across the tinted area to remove bubbles or water.
- At this point there is the optional step of getting a better finish if you use a hair dryer or heat gun.
- Finally, cut off the extra tint or tuck the edges in. There should be room on the fog lights to tuck the tint nicely and hide the ends, use a thin blunt object to tuck away the excess. This is also another step where the heat gun or hairdryer could help to get a better finish.
