Our M140i Updates Part 2!
Sooooo what else have we been up to!
We have installed the M Perfromance Limited Slip Diff (LSD) and what a difference that made... The car puts down the power so much better, it is predictable when it can step out and does it in a manageable way. Makes such a difference compared to the standard open diff that come in these M140i and baby m cars. Definitely a must. Especially with more power.
We also upgraded other handling modifications, arguably the best ones was the B 14 Bilstein coil overs, wow! What a difference. The car sits so much more stable at speed, with the under brace we fitted previously there is no floaty rear end...
We also installed the powerflex subframe inserts. This was actually quite a job to do take the whole sub frame off, but well worth doing. It is quite cheap modification for these cars just make it that bit stiffer. Overall very impressive these modifications.

we finished the last post about this car talking about power upgrades. We installed the Decat and installed a cheap device just to stop the engine management light coming up my waited for the appropriate tune. The warning light can easily be remapped out but, has to be done on these cars can put into limp mode if you are unlucky.
Further down the line we decided to instead of using the decat, which worked perfectly, but to test out Osprey performance new super sports cat. We decided to partner with MG Flasher for the re-maps. The beauty of MG Flasher as you can buy the full bundle which allows you access to stage I, stage 2 and stage 2.5, this means without buying anything else you are able to do the upgrades as and when you would like and progress like that. As Osprey performance currently has the fastest stage 2.5 b58 in the world we thought we would see what we could do with just a stage 2 map. We never gonna be the fastest B 58 as we chose a manual car. You need upgraded clutch and so on just about to manage the power of stage 2.5, which we are happy to now be able to offer and will be installed in our car soon.
We have two different versions of the clutch, race and a more gentle upgrade. Both of these are some of the best clutches you can get for these cars.
We also installed the Osprey V2 Intake System which has proven to be a massive success! Not only at improving power but in the sound!
Oh and I nearly forgot! We installed the M140i rear diffuser we offer!
