Hot Climate Mod scoop install instructions

  1. How to fit a Hot Climate Mod (HCM) if not already installed. This isn’t the world’s easiest process
  • Take the grill off by removing the top bolds holding the bumper on, under the rubber seal.
  • This will allow you room to get your hand under to unclip the grills from the inside.
  • Then unclips the side and the bottom clips and the grill should come away.
  • To install the hot climate mod you will need to remove the blanking plate.
  • Then remove the rubber filler part (number 13). This just pulls off.
  • Then you will be able to push the hot climate mod in and wiggle it into place.
  • The hot climate mod will need to clip over its holding place show in the photo below.
  • The HCM sits on a ridge with part of it still sticking out

  1. At this stage you won’t need to install the grill, however the scoop uses the same fitting points

 

  1. Clip the scoop into the same holes.

 

  1. It is easier if you start with the front and then pull it forward to get the back in. Run your finger along behind the holes to make sure it has clipped in correctly.
